Chris Jane never thought he would end up in the real-estate business. His plan was to be in the helping-people business. Thankfully, when it's done right, they're the same thing.
Born and raised in northern Michigan, Chris attended Ferris State University and made his home in Big Rapids to study business in a program called (at the time) Music Industry Management. It was there that he fell in love with the marketing and advertising classes that have helped him to present local homes in ways that haven't been seen before. Chris Jane Sells Houses was born!

Chris has been successfully serving the Mecosta, Osceola, Newaygo and Lake County Real Estate Markets since 2016. Currently, he is ranked by sales in the top one percent of agents with the West Central Association of Realtors and across the nation according to RealTrends.
Chris’ business model is based on his commitment to helping his buyers and sellers make informed and confident choices while empowering them to make educated real estate decisions. Chris is known for his can-do-attitude, upbeat personality, and relentless pursuit to better himself so he can bring a higher standard of service to his clients.

Outside of work, Chris is very involved in the Big Rapids community. He is currently the chairman of the Big Rapids Planning Commission, serves on the Big Rapids Public School Board, and volunteers at his church.

Chris and his wife, Shavon, have been married since 2004 and have two sons, and two bulldogs. They have been licensed foster parents for several years and often play host to other lovely children as well. They enjoy traveling, eating good food, and spending time with family and friends outdoors in beautiful Northern Michigan.
